True colours shown at the world’s end

Shown when cadavers tear you to pieces
I fought scared
In a depravity-ridden nightmare
Gang violence and streets of rage
Smashing open a skull with a sledge hammer

Betrayed in death’s abattoir
Amongst carnage and an ever-climbing death toll
Mangled corpses hanging from cars
Starving dogs feeding off their entrails

I alone ensured my survival
If I see you again
I will cave in your skull and hack your fucking head off
Murder and death
Plunged into rioting suburbia
Cleaving skulls and smashing heads
Surviving as humanity destroys itself

Left lying on the blood-stained bitumen
The snapping of undead jaws around me
The horrors of an apocalypse
At war with a dying world, one against all

Flesh-ripping monsters fill the premises
My own blood locks me out to die
Sentences his parents to a grizzly demise
He didn’t bat an eyelid, didn’t even shed a tear

The self-serving parasite flees the bloodbath
Hatred boils in my veins for you
At the jaws of a beast, freshly turned she tore his guts out
In this gore-soaked cellar, left for dead
